tools for country profile
Dear Paul and Philippe, to create a country profile of Germany we have the following ideas, which partly require additional tools:
1. to create a country profile, it would be better to have an extra account, which is not personalized, but official for Germany
2. we would create a list of calls through which relevant projects have been funded through the “Projects” tool. Listing all single projects, would be too much as there are several hundred from the last 10-20 years
3. we would upload all relevant “policy documents” under the “contributions” tool, such as the National Climate Action Plan 2050, which also addresses soils and soil carbon sequestration. We have not found the way to upload contributions, how does this work?
4. we have a list of institutions working on soil carbon and it would be great if we could map them. We think it would be helpful to be able to visualize them on a geographical map (for example something like this: https://www.actfl.org/about-actfl/resources/member-organization-map). Like in the example, a color code could represent different areas (research, extension, SMEs, NGOs). It’s also nice that a windows pups up with the name and the link to the organization/institution. Ideally in the near future, all these could be linked to their respective profile within the collaborative platform. Apart from country members, NGOS and research institutions could use these tools to map their main activities or project partners.
If it helps, we are glad to have a tele/videoconference to discuss about this.
Best wishes, Gianna and Viridiana
